Our response to Covid19

In line with government guidelines our normal service has been suspended. We are however continuing to support the communities of Byker and Pottery Bank, Walker with a variety of services.

Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department of Media a Sport we have been able to deliver a number of projects throughout lockdown.

In response to children,young people and their families we have tailored our support throughout the pandemic and continue to do all we can to support our users through this difficult time.

All of our programmes are fully risk assessed and adhere to strict government Health and Safety guidelines. We operate in a fully, COVID-SAFE environment (Covid Safety Policy available in "Information" section of this website)

Digital Creative Project

Providing 50 families with tablets and data sim cards, our digital creative project involves around 120 children in our weekly craft sessions. Bags of resources support the crafts and are delivered fortnightly.

Friendly Listening Service

A listening service for any young person under 25, struggling with lockdown. Text 07907 368 066 for a call back (Monday to Thursday mornings) from one of our specialist staff. Please note this is a listening service, not a counselling service.

Support for unemployed young people

Our specialist staff are available to support any young person looking for work. Help with applications, interviews, writing a CV all available on-line.
